At 5:30am today, Sole 2 Soul served alongside community partner ground40 during Elevation Church’s LOVEWeek to unload trucks filled with supplies for packing hygiene kits.
The crew took the early shift to setup the parking lot for LOVEWeek volunteers to pack hygiene kits Elevation Church’s Uptown Campus.
-50,000 hygiene kits packed at Uptown Campus
-140,000 kits total packed between all Elevation Church Campuses
The kits are for people struggling with homelessness, hunger, and to Convoy of Hope for disaster relief.
S2S is just one of over 300 organizations worldwide providing over 2,000 serving opportunities.
LOVEWeek is 10 years old this year. In 2011, Pastor Steven Furtick committed to Mayor Anthony Foxx that Elevation Church would serve 100,000 hours in just one year, and the church accomplished that goal. Now, Elevation Church serves more than 90,000 hours JUST DURING LOVE WEEK!
